Whether you’ve just had a couple of rough nights or you’re a chronic insomniac, living with the effects of poor sleep can be a huge challenge. Over time both your physical and mental health are likely to suffer, with issues extending far beyond simply feeling groggy. But the good news is that thanks to the wonders of modern technology, the answer could be right in the palm of your hand.
There are loads of sleep apps out there offering a range of solutions for an amazing night’s sleep. Some are free whilst others require a nominal payment to buy – but which one should you try? Here we look at five of the best, based on reviews, quality and reliability.

There’s even a nap module designed to boost your mood and alertness plus “focuscapes” to help with creativity and concentration.
